Real life saint Rafael Oscal of LAUNDECO and the Guatemala Chamber of Commerce has been so devoted to feeding people during the pandemic that he learned how to use a forklift in order to deliver multiple truckloads of food at a time.
Over 1500 families received boxes of food and information about COVID 19 resources on May Day, the last collaboration between Oscal and former Westlake South NC and MacArthur Park NC Presidents Eduardo Aguirre and Robin Lifland.
While the exhausted MacArthur Park/Westlake crew slept in on Sunday, Oscal was up before dawn to deliver truckloads of food to Yuma, Arizona. His commitment to feeding the hungry is truly inspirational.
