The MacArthur Park Neighborhood Council greeted attendees of the Family Fun Night at MacArthur Park on Friday, March 13, from 4:00–8:00 pm. The event was held inside MacArthur Park near the Levitt Pavilion: It was a fun, community-focused evening with several non-armed community safety groups hosting tables and sharing information.
Some highlights included:
-39 programmatic intakes (individuals were enrolled on-site or completed paperwork for the agency to follow up with and enroll)
-14 people visited the mobile health unit, with 5 people receiving on-site health checks and direct medical support
-13 people received housing referrals and assistance
-1 RAP sheet reviewed and expungement initiated
-70 referrals were made to various partners
-142 people received an eligibility check for services
– 21 people signed up for the Macarthur Park Neighborhood Council
