MacArthur Park was in the news last week when LA Times Columnist Steve Lopez wrote about MPNC President Andrew Wolff and other neighborhood council members conducting an inventory of non functioning street lights and the damage done to the new playground at MacArthur Park.
Steve Lopez wrote, “Bass knows the lights are out. Someone, anyone, needs to get the trucks and equipment moving to MacArthur Park. Not in six months or a year or three. Immediately. Just fix the lights, for God’s sake.”
